They asked me 5 minutes later, if I was ready for my massage ~Massage went great, afterwards I went back to shower at the lockers, and they were out of shower dispenser soap. So disappointed with the front girls staff, I arrived 30 min early on a Sunday at 12:00 noon to enjoy a cup of tea before my massage. I am horrified that my mom spent her 80th birthday celebration overcharged for a treatment that should have been prepaid by me only to leave with missing jewels that she trusted was safe to take off during her treatment. After confirming my email and assuring me that it would be immediately emailed, the policy still has not been provided. ![]() Confirming it was not there, I called to asked that they check the premise again and email me there policy on missing/stolen items. I immediately called the staff who stated that it was not there and that I should ask my mom to look in her purse. Shortly after, my mom let me know she forgot her very special earrings there while getting her treatment. The receptionist took my wrong information which I again corrected. ![]() I immediately spoke with the receptionist and she recognized the mistake and overcharge stating that they had multiple complaints today as a result of the after hours service support staff. She called embarrassed to let me know about the situation. After her service, she was charged individual rates rather than the package rate. We really didn't appreciate that at all.įor my mom's 80th birthday, I scheduled a head to to toe package at the Woodhouse at the Rim in San Antonio which was prepaid with gratuity. I think they didn't realize I was still standing around the corner. My wife had never been to a place like this before so she had some questions and concerns just because she was kind of nervous and the girls at the desk started laughing at her and talking about her as soon as they led her into another room. I took my wife here last year as a mother's day gift and I just never got around to writing this review but overall the place is nice and looks very classy, my wife loved her cleansing facial but the only downside was the service. It’s been frustrating trying to get an appointment with Woodhouse and customer service has not been meeting expectation of the cost it takes to attend. We are not asking for free massages but there was nothing being offered for the inconvenience, except offering us to take a reduction of the time from 80 to 50. I was disappointed that after speaking to staff at the location, there was no accommodation being made. I believe altering our schedule, especially for something lengthy should require the same. I understand that life happens to everyone including therapists, but Woodhouse also has a cancellation policy that allows you all to charge clients in the event that we don’t make our appointments either in order to compensate therapists for their time. The next appointment at the location that allows us to go for the time requested is a whole month out from today, which is the wait we already went through for this one. This morning we received a call that we would have to reschedule it due to a therapist being out. ![]() My partner and I had scheduled a 90 minute couples session weeks in advance and were confirmed for this appointment last evening.
